What you'll see
When your team crosses 80% of any monthly resource limit, Zenovay shows a yellow toast in the bottom-right corner of the dashboard:
You've used 82% of your website events this month. Consider upgrading to avoid hitting your limit.
If you keep going and reach 95%, a second, more urgent toast appears:
Critical: 96% of your website events used. You will hit your limit very soon. Upgrade to keep tracking.
Each toast includes an Upgrade button that takes you straight to the plans page.
Which resources are tracked
Three PAYG resources are tracked independently:
| Resource | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Website events | Pageviews, custom events, and goal completions on your sites |
| API requests | Calls to api.zenovay.com from your own integrations using API keys |
| First-party proxy events | Tracking events routed through your custom Cloudflare Worker proxy |
A warning fires per resource, per threshold. So if you cross 80% on website events AND 80% on proxy events on the same day, you'll see two toasts (one per resource).
Why you only see each warning once
Once you've seen the 80% toast for a given resource, Zenovay records the acknowledgement on the server. You won't see another 80% toast for that resource until the next billing period. The 95% toast works the same way — separately from the 80% one.
This works across devices and reloads — if you saw the toast on your laptop, you won't see it again on your phone the next morning.
When the counter resets
Warnings reset on the first day of each calendar month (UTC), the same as your event quota. After the reset, you're eligible for both warnings again.
Free plan
The Free plan has different mechanics — see Event limit overage for what happens when a Free site reaches its 10K monthly event quota. Warnings only apply to Pro+ plans where PAYG is enabled.
Disabling the warnings
The warnings are part of the dashboard UX and can't be disabled. If they're disrupting demos or screenshots, consider acknowledging them manually so they're already marked-as-seen for the period.
