Connecting Google Search Console pulls impressions, clicks, and query data into Zenovay so you can see which search queries actually drive traffic to your site, right alongside your other analytics.
Connect Google Search Console via OAuth
The integration is set up per website, from that website's settings.
Verify the property in Search Console
Make sure the website you want to connect is already verified in Search Console. Zenovay only sees properties your Google account has access to, and it needs a property that matches the domain registered in Zenovay.
Open the website's Integrations settings
In
app.zenovay.com, open the website from Domains, go to its settings, and select the Integrations tab. You'll find Google Search Console listed there.Click Connect
Click Connect next to Google Search Console. You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth screen. Sign in with the account that has access to the property, review the read-only Search Console scope Zenovay requests, and click Allow.
Zenovay matches the property automatically
Zenovay looks at the Search Console properties your Google account can access and connects the one that matches this website's domain. If no matching property is found, you'll be sent back with a message asking you to add the domain to Search Console first.
Wait for the initial backfill
On connect, Zenovay backfills up to 16 months of query data (the maximum Search Console makes available). After that, fresh data syncs on an ongoing basis. Search Console publishes with a couple of days' lag, so the most recent days fill in over time.
Once connected, Search Console data shows up in the Keywords tab of the traffic sources card on your website's Analytics dashboard.
What gets pulled in
For each query Search Console reports, Zenovay imports:
- Clicks and impressions
- Click-through rate (CTR)
- Average position
This lets you see which search queries bring traffic to your site, ranked by clicks, with their impressions and average position.
Required scopes
Zenovay requests only read-only Search Console access (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly). It cannot make changes to your property, submit sitemaps, or affect your search presence.
Disconnecting
In the same website's Integrations settings tab, click Disconnect next to Google Search Console and confirm. Only workspace owners and admins can disconnect an integration. Disconnecting removes Zenovay's access and stops new data from syncing.
