Add colleagues to your Zenovay team - send invitations, manage pending invites, and onboard new members.

Invite colleagues to collaborate on your Zenovay analytics. Team members can view data, manage websites, and work together on insights.

Inviting Members

Step 1: Open Team Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Click "Members" tab
  3. Click "Invite Member"

Step 2: Enter Details

Provide invitation details:

Step 3: Send Invitation

  1. Review details
  2. Click "Send Invitation"
  3. Invitee receives email

Invitation Email

The invitee receives:

You've been invited to join [Team Name] on Zenovay

[Your Name] has invited you to collaborate on analytics.

Role: Editor

[Accept Invitation]

This invitation expires in 7 days.

Bulk Invitations

Invite Multiple People

Scale Plan
  1. Click "Bulk Invite"
  2. Enter emails (one per line)
  3. Select default role
  4. Send all invitations

CSV Import

For large teams:

  1. Download CSV template
  2. Fill in details
  3. Upload file
  4. Review and send

Managing Invitations

View Pending Invites

See all pending invitations:

Resend Invitation

If invitation wasn't received:

  1. Find in pending list
  2. Click "Resend"
  3. New email sent
  4. Expiration resets

Cancel Invitation

To revoke an invitation:

  1. Find in pending list
  2. Click "Cancel"
  3. Link becomes invalid

Accepting Invitations

For New Users

If invitee doesn't have a Zenovay account:

  1. Click link in email
  2. Create account
  3. Automatically join team

For Existing Users

If invitee already has an account:

  1. Click link in email
  2. Log in if needed
  3. Confirm joining team
  4. Access granted

Multiple Teams

Users can belong to multiple teams:

  • Accept invitation
  • Switch between teams
  • Separate roles per team

Roles When Inviting

Available Roles

Change Role Later

Roles can be changed after joining:

  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Find member
  3. Edit role
  4. Save changes

Website Access

Default Access

New members get access to:

  • All team websites (by default)
  • Based on their role
  • Can be restricted

Restricting Access

Scale Plan

Limit access to specific websites:

  1. Go to member settings
  2. Click "Website Access"
  3. Select allowed websites
  4. Save restrictions

Set team invitation preferences:

Automatically approve users from your domain:

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Add approved domains
  3. Users with matching email join instantly

  1. Set custom invitation message

View All Members

See your team roster:

Member Actions

Available actions per member:

  • Edit role - Change permissions
  • Restrict websites - Limit access
  • Remove - Revoke access

Troubleshooting

Invitation Not Received

If email doesn't arrive:

  1. Check spam folder
  2. Verify email address
  3. Resend invitation
  4. Try different email

Invitation Expired

If link no longer works:

  1. Cancel old invitation
  2. Send new one
  3. Expiration resets

Member Limit Reached

If you can't invite more:

  1. Check current member count
  2. Remove inactive members
  3. Upgrade plan for more seats

Wrong Role Assigned

If role needs changing:

  1. Go to member settings
  2. Edit role
  3. Changes apply immediately

Security Considerations

Before Inviting

Verify:

  • Correct email address
  • Appropriate role level
  • Business need for access

After Leaving

When someone leaves:

  1. Remove from team promptly
  2. Review their past access
  3. Check audit logs if needed

Regular Review

Periodically audit members:

  • Remove inactive users
  • Verify roles appropriate
  • Check access levels
